Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen

Not quite there...

I'm going on my 6th hour here in Bangkok. I only have 4.5 more to go. I've done just about everything there is to do including checking out the internet cafe. This place is like a huge mall, but shiny and really expensive. I want to buy a lot of stuff because a lot of it is really cool looking 'cause I'm in Thailand.

The first leg of the trip was about 12 hours on the plane. I sat next to a guy who was my age and traveling to Bangkok so we also had our layover together. Nice to have someone to chat with. Of course now that I have 10+ hours to wait I'm all by myself. Oh well. I've been trying to sleep, but the floor is pretty cold.

I've noticed a lot more diversity here than at the airport in Taiwan. And the women in saris are so beautiful! I love culture. The Soduko puzzles are kicking my butt. I still haven't figured one out without a little help from the back of the book. I've been coloring in my coloring book. Luckily my next flight is only an hour and then I get to see Tuan! I'm really looking forward to seeing someone I know.

So yeah, that's about all that's happened so far. Lots of walking around airports. Tuesday is pretty sweet though, you guys are going to like it. Let me know how Monday went because I didn't really ever see Monday. We were in front of the sunrise all the way to Taiwan.

Talk to you later, Corina

Monday wasn't bad. Good to see you're still alive and you haven't been mugged yet. Enjoy your airport experience, they're one of a kind. We had a good time with our 44 hour singapore layover.

Wow- racing Tuesday across the world.

By the time you get this, it will probably be Wednesday, your first day there. Be safe, have fun, and God bless!
